About The Civil Rights Agenda

LGBT Rights are Civil Rights!

Through education, advocacy, community and organizational coalition-building, and the utilization of social media we seek to equip the disenfranchised with a voice that resonates within the hearts and minds of Illinois constituents.  Drawing upon some of history’s most successful grassroots movements -- suffrage, the labor movement and the African American Civil Rights Movement -- TCRA’s ongoing efforts envision a state affected by civil liberties and justice that are truly of all, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
