Voter Project

The Voter Project identifies, educates, and organizes voters that support TCRA’s core principle that LGBT rights are fundamental civil rights. TCRA  helps to educate various constituencies statewide on policy issues that affect them and ways they can influence or change those policies.

To support this effort and promote broader civic engagement at the ballot box, TCRA conducts a continuing statewide voter registration drive and an LGBT Census. The LGBT Census helps generate a better understanding of the community’s collective views on important civil rights and social issues, in addition to helping mobilize the community behind initiatives and legislation that promote LGBT rights as fundamental civil rights.

The Voter Project is a non-partisan effort to maximize our ability to educate and inform the public about issues of equality and civil rights.
